How FineInk works
Five steps between your resumeand a safer, stronger version.
See what happens at each step, from upload to export.
Step 1
Add your resume and the role.
Paste or upload the resume you already use, then add the full job description for the role you're targeting. FineInk needs both to run a structured comparison.
Both documents are parsed into structured evidence — not matched as raw keywords. The review is built from what your experience actually says, not what a scanner finds.
Step 2
See exactly where your resume falls short.
FineInk compares structured resume evidence against the role requirements and surfaces the gaps that need attention.
Step 3
Rewrites only what the role can justify.
Suggestions are built from the gap report, your resume evidence, and the language the role already uses. Each rewrite is attached to a visible reason instead of hidden in a regenerated document.
You see the before-and-after wording, approve changes as-is, edit them to fit your voice, or reject anything that doesn't feel right.
Step 4
You approve every change before it's applied.
Every suggested rewrite arrives in an approval queue. You see the original bullet, the proposed change, and why it was recommended.
Nothing moves into your final resume without your explicit approval. Approve changes as-is, edit them to fit your voice, or reject anything that doesn't feel right.
Step 5
Preview the final resume before you export.
The preview reflects only the changes you approved. Rejected suggestions stay out, and skipped role signals do not get invented just to improve a score.
When the result is ready, download the resume you reviewed and keep the original application inputs available for the next role.
