This Acceptable Use Policy explains how FineInk may and may not be used.
Our goal is simple: provide a reliable service that helps people improve their resumes while protecting our users, our systems, and the broader community.
By using FineInk, you agree to use the service responsibly, in accordance with this policy, our Terms & Conditions, and applicable laws.
You May Use FineInk To
FineInk is designed to help you:
- optimize resumes
- tailor resumes to job descriptions
- identify ATS compatibility issues
- identify missing or relevant keywords
- improve wording, clarity, and presentation
- generate cover letters
- export optimized application documents
The service is intended to help present your existing experience more effectively—not to create false qualifications, misleading information, or fictional experience.
Do Not Misuse the Service
You must not use FineInk in ways that interfere with the service, harm other people, or violate applicable laws.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- breaking the law
- committing fraud or deception
- infringing another person's intellectual property rights
- attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- disrupting or interfering with the availability, integrity, or security of the service
- uploading malware or other malicious software
- attempting to reverse engineer, exploit, or abuse the platform
- attempting to bypass usage limits, billing controls, authentication, or security measures
- using the service to facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activities
No Fabricated Qualifications
FineInk is designed to improve how genuine experience is presented.
You must not use the service to intentionally create or distribute resumes, cover letters, or other materials that falsely represent:
- employment history
- education
- qualifications
- certifications
- skills
- achievements
- professional experience
While our AI systems include safeguards intended to reduce fabricated content, you remain responsible for reviewing everything before you use, share, or submit it.
Respect Other People's Information
Only upload information that you have the right to use.
If you include information about other people, you are responsible for ensuring that doing so is lawful and appropriate.
Do not upload material that you know infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality obligations, or other legal rights.
Automated Use
FineInk is designed for interactive use by people.
Unless we expressly provide a documented interface for automated access (such as a public API), you must not use bots, scripts, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or interact with the service.
You must not:
- scrape or harvest data from the service
- perform automated account creation
- perform credential stuffing or other account attacks
- probe the service for vulnerabilities
- circumvent technical protections or rate limits
- use automation that places an unreasonable burden on our systems or materially affects other users' ability to use the service
We may restrict or block automated activity that threatens the reliability, security, or availability of the platform.
Account Sharing
Unless explicitly permitted by your subscription or by us in writing, accounts are intended for use only by the individual or organization that created them.
You must not share login credentials or otherwise provide account access to multiple individuals in ways that circumvent pricing, subscription limits, licensing terms, or intended product usage.
Security
Do not attempt to:
- access systems you are not authorized to access
- interfere with another user's account
- test vulnerabilities without our permission
- bypass authentication or authorization mechanisms
- interfere with or circumvent safeguards designed to protect the service or its AI features
- introduce malicious code
- interfere with the normal operation of the platform
If you believe you have discovered a security issue, please report it to support@fineink.ai rather than attempting to exploit it.
AI Usage
FineInk uses AI to assist with resume optimization and related features.
You must not use our AI features to:
- generate fraudulent employment documents
- impersonate another person
- facilitate scams, phishing, or other deceptive activities
- create unlawful content
- deliberately attempt to misuse or interfere with the intended operation of our AI features
- abuse AI-generated output at scale in ways that disrupt the service
AI-generated content should always be reviewed before use.
You are responsible for the final documents you create using FineInk.
Fair Use
We design FineInk for genuine customer use.
You must not use the service in a way that places an unreasonable burden on our systems or materially affects the reliability, performance, or availability of the service for other users.
Where appropriate, we may temporarily limit access or take other reasonable measures to protect the stability and security of the platform while we investigate unusual or abusive activity.
Where practical, we will aim to notify you before taking action.
Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this policy has been violated, we may take appropriate action to protect our users, our platform, or our business.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- requesting that prohibited activity stop
- temporarily limiting access to features
- suspending or terminating accounts
- removing access to the service where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform
- taking any other reasonable action necessary to maintain the security, integrity, or reliability of FineInk
Where appropriate, we aim to take actions that are proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the issue.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time as FineInk evolves.
If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users before those changes take effect where appropriate.
The latest version will always be published on our website with its effective date.
