Transparent editorial rules

Atlas research methodology

Atlas makes career-transition evidence inspectable. It separates what a person may already demonstrate from what a target employer may still require.

How Atlas works

Evidence before equivalence

Atlas compares occupational responsibilities and employer-facing evidence. It does not treat a clinical title as proof of business scope, or a transferable skill as proof that a qualification is unnecessary.

  1. Current responsibility
  2. Transferable capability
  3. Target-role interpretation
  4. Evidence an employer can inspect
  5. Remaining gap
  6. Supportable resume wording

Source and claim rules

  • Prefer official occupational and regulator sources for broad role context.
  • Use a real vacancy as the authority for employer-specific requirements.
  • Do not infer salary, eligibility, outcomes, or qualification equivalence.
  • Attach sources to claims and record access and review dates.
  • Keep draft and review content out of public indexes and recommendations.

Resume translation rules

A translation may change framing and terminology only when the underlying responsibility, scope, collaborators, and result stay true. Placeholders are prompts for evidence; they are not claims ready to publish on a resume.

Atlas never treats a transferable capability as proof that a reader owns a process, meets a legal requirement, holds a qualification, or produced an outcome.
